 My sister in law and I love cooking with eggplant.  We try to, or I have tried to figure out how one of our local gourmet restaurants creates this delicious layered eggplant dish.  Italian, scrumptious!!!! They use paper thin slices of the eggplant and layer it up like a tall layered cake.  Mozzarella and gravy.  It is my favorite:). enjoy......

My art career started at a young age, when I began taking craft classes at the local elementary school in upstate NY. I continued to take art classes throughout my schooling, and eventually graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelors in Merchandising. After that, I was once again seeking an art degree, this time from Georgia State University, concentrating on studio art leading me to Interior Design. Once I moved to Raleigh, I continued the Interior Design route at Meredith College and then met my present partner of ArtSource Consultants Inc. in Raleigh, NC. Being the co-owner of a gallery since 1990, and previously working at numerous galleries in Atlanta, my work experience has always been related to the arts and that creative need within. Not only do I have a studio for large scale abstract painting, but one for jewelry making, and another for glass bead making. I’ve always had a diverse interest in the arts, and I don't think my interests will ever cease, only continue to broaden. Here on my blog you can see a display of the different mediums and genres of artwork that I have done and am currently working on. Please visit often for updates!
